Play of UBC Face Drama of the Year 2022-2023: Out of Order
Adapted from British playwright Ray Cooney’s classic comedy, Out of Order, translated by Fan Yisong, and directed by Mengxi Zhang, financially supported by AMS
Synopsis: Vice Squad leader Richard Wiley meets his lover, Jenny, the secretary of his political rival, at a hotel. They found a corpse on the window when they were about to make love. In order not to cause any possible scandal, Richard calls in his honest secretary, George Pigton, to help him dispose of the body and create a false impression. But a formal hotel manager, cunning waiter, aggressive Jenny’s husband Ronnie, George’s mother’s nanny Forster, Mrs. Wiley, and others have appeared. Richard in order to preserve themselves, has to make up a larger lie, and George can only follow Wiley helping to justify themselves. The situation is more and more complicated and chaotic…

劇情簡介：掃黃大隊隊長理查德·威利在賓館幽會情人，也是他政敵的秘書珍妮。正欲甜蜜卻發現窗臺上有一具屍體。為了不引起任何可能的醜聞，理查德叫來老實巴交的秘書喬治·皮格頓，讓他幫忙處理屍體，製造假象，掩人耳目。可是一板一眼的酒店經理、機敏狡猾的服務生、氣勢洶洶的珍妮的丈夫羅尼、喬治母親的保姆福斯特、威利太太等人卻先後出現，理查德為了保全自身，不得不接連著編造一個個更大的謊言，而喬治也只能跟在屁股後幫著自圓其說，局面越來越復雜混亂……
